Standalone Photoelectric Smoke Detector, SD-425

The FG SD-425 standalone photoelectric smoke detector is designed to detect smoke and provide direct audible and visual warning without requiring a conventional fire alarm control panel.

The detector uses infrared photoelectric sensing inside a specially designed chamber. The chamber allows smoke to enter while helping reduce the effect of external light.

When smoke enters the sensing chamber, smoke particles reflect infrared light toward the receiving sensor. Once the smoke reaches the alarm threshold, the detector activates its audible alarm and flashes the red LED.
