FirePlus-LHD Digital Linear Heat Detection Cable, 68°C to 185°C, UL Listed

FirePlus-LHD digital linear heat detection cable raises an alarm when a set temperature is reached at any point along its length. When the temperature around the cable reaches the activation temperature, the two cores come into contact and trigger the alarm.

The whole length of the cable acts as the sensor, so it covers large areas with one zone. It connects to typical conventional or addressable fire panels and building management systems. Reels are available in 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1,000 m.

Key features:

• Detection along the entire length of the cable.
• Up to 10,000 ft (3,000 m) per zone.
• Responds well to overheating in noisy, dusty or hazardous environments where other detectors may give false alarms.
• Activation ratings of 68°C, 88°C and 105°C (PVC coated) and 185°C (nylon sheath).
• Options: nylon coating for UV protection and durability, polypropylene coating for chemical protection, stainless-steel over-braiding for mechanical protection.
• UL 521 approved, UL listed.
