Product Details

Product Overview

The FG FGH-504 conventional heat detector is designed for use within conventional fire alarm systems in residential and commercial applications.

The detector combines two heat-detection methods:

• Fixed-temperature detection.
• Rate-of-rise heat detection.

It uses an externally mounted thermistor protected by a specially designed cover that allows maximum airflow while protecting the sensing element.

The thermistor measures the surrounding air temperature and sends a corresponding signal to the internal control circuit. When the temperature reaches or exceeds the trip point, the detector activates, the red status LED illuminates and an alarm signal is generated.

Key Features:

• Conventional heat detector for non-addressable fire alarm systems.
• Combines fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise detection.
• Fixed-temperature trip point: 57°C ±3°C.
• Rate-of-rise trip point: 8 to 10°C per minute.
• Red LED alarm indication.
• Supports a remote LED indicator.
• Wide operating-voltage range from 9 to 35V DC.
• Low standby-current consumption.
• Suitable for residential and commercial applications.
• Compact circular design for ceiling mounting.

Technical Specifications:

• Operating voltage: DC 9V to 35V.
