The Context Plus Addressable Heat Detector (A2S), 55000-485IMC is an addressable heat detector designed for use within addressable fire alarm systems to monitor temperature rise in protected areas and communicate with the fire alarm control panel.

The detector uses a single NTC thermistor to monitor the surrounding air temperature and provide a signal related to the external air temperature.

It operates on the Apollo XP95 communication protocol and supports two-wire, polarity-insensitive supply wiring. The detector also includes a red LED alarm indicator to show alarm status when activated.
