Intelligent Base Mounted Flame Detectors, 55000-022 / 55000-023 / 55000-024

A range of compact Context Plus intelligent flame detectors designed to fit into Context Plus XP95 bases and protect areas where open flaming fires may be expected.

The range includes three models:

• Intelligent Base Mounted UV Flame Detector, model 55000-022.
• Intelligent Base Mounted UV IR2 Flame Detector, model 55000-023.
• Intelligent Base Mounted IR3 Flame Detector, model 55000-024.

Model 55000-022:

Designed to protect internal areas where open fires may be expected. It uses a single UV sensor with a narrow spectral response to help distinguish between flames and most spurious sources of radiation.

Features:

• Responds to stationary flames with no flicker.
• Sensitive to UV radiation emitted by flames during combustion.
• Compact design that fits into Context Plus XP95 bases.
• Complies with EN54-10:2002.

Model 55000-023:

Uses one UV sensor and two IR sensors responding to different wavelengths to help distinguish between flames and spurious sources of radiation.

Features:

• Responds to stationary flames with no flicker.
• Sensitive to UV and low-frequency flickering IR radiation emitted during combustion.
• Compact design that fits into Context Plus XP95 bases.
• Helps minimise false alarms caused by electrical discharges from lightning or arc welding.
• Complies with EN54-10:2002.

Model 55000-024:

Uses three IR sensors responding to different infrared wavelengths to help distinguish between flames and spurious sources of radiation.

Features:

• Responds to stationary flames with no flicker.
• Sensitive to low-frequency flickering IR radiation emitted during combustion.
• Compact design that fits into Context Plus XP95 bases.
• Resistant to false alarms caused by flickering sunlight through signal processing techniques.
• Complies with EN54-10:2002.
