Electric Release Solenoids for Clean Agent Cylinders, 24V DC, CP50025-2 & CP50025-6, UL Listed

The electric solenoid discharges the cylinder valve. The cylinder valve is normally closed and needs electrical energy to open: the solenoid vents the pressure from the top of the piston in the valve, so the piston slides upward and discharge starts.

CP50025-2 suits Context Plus cylinders from 35 lb to 560 lb and is not suitable for the 1,200 lb cylinder. CP50025-6 is designed for the 1,200 lb cylinder CP91200-E.

Key features:

• 24V DC operation.
• Opens the normally closed cylinder valve by venting the piston chamber.
• Must be connected to a Context Plus approved extinguishing control panel.
• Solenoid circuit must be supervised for open circuit, earth fault and short circuit.
• UL listed.

Typical applications:

• Electrical actuation of master cylinders in HFC-227ea systems.
