The ISR 1000 is Cisco's compact branch router family with two Gigabit WAN ports and an 8-port Gigabit LAN switch, with optional PoE on the LAN ports. Depending on the model it adds embedded Wi-Fi 6 or pluggable LTE/5G for backup links. It runs Cisco IOS XE and can also run as a Cisco SD-WAN edge router.
