Schedule 10 or Schedule 40?

Schedule 10 is lighter and is often used with grooved fittings; Schedule 40 is thicker and is used with threaded fittings or where specified. The choice follows the joining method, system pressure and approved specification.

Frequently asked questions

Are the pipes UL and FM approved?

The product page states UL and FM documentation is available for KDI pipes, and it is provided with the quotation.

Black or galvanized?

Galvanized pipe has a zinc coating against corrosion and is used where the system type and specification require it, such as some dry systems or humid locations.
