Product Overview

The Ei128R and Ei128RBU relay bases switch on receipt of an alarm signal from a suitable Ei mains-powered alarm. Their electrically isolated contacts can be used for signalling, turning on lights, strobes and similar applications.

They can be installed underneath an Easi-fit base or sited remotely using the cover provided, and must be hard-wire interconnected even in a single-alarm installation.

Note: these domestic devices are not designed to be a critical component of a BS 5839-1 system, such as for sound pressure level, or a necessary part of an evacuation or other life safety procedure.

Key features:

• 230V AC mains powered.
• Ei128RBU: rechargeable battery back-up for up to 2 months of mains failure.
• Electrically isolated relay contacts.
• Continuous mode as supplied, switching until an alarm cancel signal; adjustable to 5-second pulse mode.
• Fits under an Easi-fit base or remotely with the supplied cover.

Typical applications:

• Switching strobes, lights or signalling from domestic alarm systems.
