Standard and Recessed Arrangements:

Horizontal Sidewall:

The sprinkler is installed horizontally through the wall, with the sprinkler body visible and a flush or extended escutcheon according to the selected arrangement.

Recessed Horizontal Sidewall:

The sprinkler is installed partially within the wall using a recessed escutcheon to reduce the visible profile.

The recessed arrangement does not change the model number or K-factor. It changes the mounting arrangement and finished appearance.

Operation:

The sprinkler uses a heat-sensitive 3 mm nominal glass bulb.

When the ambient temperature reaches the rated temperature:

• The fluid inside the bulb expands.
• The glass bulb breaks.
• The sealing assembly releases.
• Water discharges through the sprinkler orifice.
• The sidewall deflector directs water outward, downward and away from the wall.
• Water is distributed across the protected area according to the approved sidewall spray pattern.
