Victaulic FireLock FL-SR/ST K11.2 Storage Sprinklers – V3403 and V3407

Victaulic FireLock Series FL-SR/ST sprinklers are standard-response storage sprinklers with a nominal K11.2 discharge coefficient, designed for warehouse and storage fire-protection applications.

Available Models:

V3403 Upright:

Installed above the branch line with the deflector directed upward.

When activated, water strikes the upright deflector and is distributed upward, outward and into the protected area below.

This model is suitable for storage-system layouts requiring an upright sprinkler orientation.

V3407 Pendent:

Installed below the branch line with the deflector directed downward over the protected storage area.

It can be installed as an exposed pendent sprinkler or as a recessed pendent using a compatible escutcheon and installation arrangement.

Operation:

Each sprinkler uses a 3 mm nominal-diameter heat-sensitive glass bulb.

When the ambient temperature reaches the rated operating temperature:

• Fluid inside the glass bulb expands.
• The bulb breaks.
• The sealing assembly releases.
• Water discharges through the sprinkler orifice.
• The deflector distributes water according to the selected sprinkler orientation.
• Fire control is provided according to the calculated design density and operating area.
