A smart building is one where systems talk to each other instead of working in isolation: the fire alarm signals access control, lifts and voice evacuation; CCTV cameras and recorders run on one organised network; and operators can follow system status from one place.
AZEIDK Group delivers smart buildings through the systems it actually supplies and installs: structured cabling, networks and Wi-Fi; CCTV cameras and recorders; access control, time attendance, gates and barriers; intercom and telephony; public address and audio; and fire alarm systems. Where the project calls for it, we plan the interfaces between these systems and the building management system (BMS).
Can an existing building become a smart building?
In most cases yes, after an assessment of the existing systems to see what can be linked and what needs upgrading.
Do you work with a BMS from another company?
Yes. Systems are linked through interfaces and protocols both sides support, defined during design.
